ANALISIS KESULITAN MENULIS KARYA ILMIAH SEDERHANA SISWA KELAS IX SMPN 3 SINGOSARI
Abstract
This study describes sutdents handicaps in writing simple scientific works in terms of paper. The handicaps were focused on organizing (1) title, introduction development, (3) defining problems, (4) citating and references, (5) factors causing problems in writing papers. The study used descriptive design  assigning the IX graders of SMPN 3 Singosari, Malang. The study revealed that Students’ problems in developing scintific work is high emphasizing in three factirs: lacking of knowledge on scintific writing, lacking of reading, and shortage of time allotment to practice writing. Identification of the writing aspects showed that initial scintific writing is obvious. Defining title comes first as the shortage, and development of background appears the most problems. Conceptually, defining problem is complex and students are failed to formulate. In addtiion, cetating in the text is more complex and writing references indicate mechanical failure that needs more practices and considerable writing.
